Medical pigmentation

Recreating the perfect illusion of a hair follicle, micro-dot by micro-dot: a close-shaved look, added density on thinning hair, patches of alopecia areata, soft shading between grafts.

Who and what for
Women and men, hair loss or baldness

Scalp micropigmentation is an effective treatment for women and men experiencing hair loss or baldness, and works beautifully alongside a hair transplant. By depositing micro-dots of pigment into the scalp, it recreates the perfect illusion of a hair follicle.

Four main uses: the close-shaved look, which redraws a clean hairline and an even density; added density on thinning hair, where the pigment darkens the scalp between the hairs to remove any see-through areas; alopecia areata, where bare patches are repigmented to blend into the surrounding hair; and transplant support, which softens the space between grafts and camouflages the donor scar after a hair transplant.

Step by step
Four steps, two sessions
01
Appointment & quote
A first appointment establishes a scalp assessment and a personalised quote based on the area, the density and the shade of your hair.
02
Choosing the pigment
The shade is matched precisely to your natural colour and your complexion, for an invisible result.
03
Micropigmentation
Micro-dots are deposited, follicle by follicle or as soft shading, to simulate the presence of follicles and add visible density. Two sessions are usually needed.
04
Settling & touch-up
The pigments settle within 3 to 4 weeks; a second pass at around one month fixes and perfects the result.
